Key Account Sales - Commercial - Pharma and Food and Beverages

Key areas of responsibility and competence:

  • Acquisitions of new key accounts (=KA).
  • Look for new customers, run first meetings about cooperation, draft of technical solution, propose plan ow to reach the budget.
  • Increase business through KA development, planning and establishing good relationships with KA customers.
  • Prepare action plan for individual KA
  • Visits or further activities (events, lunch, dinners, etc) to build/support relations.
  • Fulfilling of KPI (number of customer visits, updating of pipeline – EOD, EDD, ETD)
  • Create unique support via muster plans. Ease repeated purchases.
  • Identify customer needs, find all details (technical, commercial), agree on timing.
  • Have attractive, competitive price level for KA. KA price level is proposed and approved by Commercial Manager and set in SAP. In case of additional DS discount request is evaluated and if needed approved by KA
  • Have a list of reliable installers available for KA customers. Prepare draft of "cooperation" for installation in line with the KA customer requirements. The draft is communicated internally to DS and DS provides a list of recommended Dealers.
  • Gathering data for steering the business, report project information, visits, additional requested data
  • KA turnover target/ market share demand. Collecting info from the market (customers, competitors, prices,…)
  • KA companies behavior - customer needs and requirements
  • Decision making process of EU.
  • Provide information/changes relevant for customers/colleagues to the internal team.
  • Define who, when, in which form has to be informed and  then then realize communication (via email, phone, direct manager, personally) in cooperation with marketing or within own effort.
  • Responsibility for business opportunities generating - supply of Daikin equipment "turnkey", including installation (turnkey solution)
  • Experience in the field of "Food&Beverage, Pharma" is an advantage
  • Other tasks according to instructions of manager and statutory body of the employer

Required qualification and experience:

  • All products  basic technical knowledge, PC literacy
  • SAP
  • English

Required skills and personal characteristics:

  • Proven sales experience (5 years)
  • high level of communication and negotiation skills
  • market understanding and business acumen
